A Revolver-tionary time

I shadowed the ATD Vega Hernandez as they updated cues in the Creative Conners software during tech for the show and ended up operating for a few runs before taking over for the full course of performances.

We had borrowed a turntable and a Revolver from WVU for this performance so I got to learn how to work those system from an operator’s point of view. This is also why I have so many pictures from the wing.

My role and responsibilities.

  • Setting up and breaking down the operator table each night.

  • Zeroing the turntable, assisting in fight call, then re-zeroing.

  • Going on SM’s cue light and monitoring actor’s safety during movement.

  • Reset Cinderella’s dress drop kabuki and Baker’s house pin break each night.
